HOW WE PROTECT DATA

Our Data Handling and Security Practices

220pate applies layered security controls across account data, payment records and session information. From encrypted storage to access-controlled databases, every layer is designed to limit exposure.

Encrypted Account Storage

All account credentials and personal details are stored using encryption at rest. Access to those records is restricted to authorised systems only, with audit logs kept for every access event to detect any unusual activity.

Cookie and Tracking Policy

We use session cookies to keep you logged in and analytics cookies to understand how pages are used. You can manage cookie preferences in your browser settings; disabling analytics cookies does not affect account functionality.

Payment Data Handling

When you deposit or withdraw via UPI, Paytm or PhonePe, the actual transaction is processed by those payment providers. We store only a transaction reference and amount — never your full UPI handle password or Paytm PIN.

Data Retention Schedule

Active account data is retained for as long as your account remains open. Closed account records are held for the period required by applicable law, after which they are deleted or anonymised. You may request early deletion where local law permits.

Third-Party Data Sharing

We share data only with processors required to operate the platform — payment rails, fraud-detection services and cloud infrastructure. Each processor is bound by a data processing agreement limiting how they may use your information.

Your Right to Request Changes

You can ask to access, correct, port or erase your personal data at any time. Submit a request through live chat or email, pass our identity check and we will action your request within 30 days where local law permits.

Your Privacy Questions Answered

Below are the questions we receive most often about how 220pate handles personal data, cookie usage, account security and your rights. If your question is not here, reach out via live chat or email and we will come back to you within 24 hours.

We collect your name, email address, mobile number, date of birth and any payment identifiers you link to your account such as a UPI ID or Paytm-registered number. Device and session data is also logged for fraud prevention purposes.

We share data only with processors who help run the platform — payment providers like UPI, Paytm and PhonePe, fraud-detection services, and cloud infrastructure. All processors operate under data agreements and cannot use your data for their own marketing.

Open a request via live chat or email, selecting the Data Access topic. After we verify your identity, we will send a summary of the personal data held on your account within 30 days, where local law permits.

Yes. Submit a deletion request through support, pass the identity check and we will erase or anonymise your data. Some records may be retained for the period required by applicable law before deletion is completed.

Closed account records are retained for the minimum period required under applicable law. Once that retention period expires, your personal data is deleted or anonymised so it can no longer be linked to you.

We use session cookies to maintain your login, and analytics cookies to see which pages are visited most. You can disable analytics cookies in your browser settings at any time without affecting your account login or payment functions.

Transactions are processed by UPI, Paytm or PhonePe directly. We store only a transaction reference and amount — never your UPI password, Paytm PIN or PhonePe credentials. Payment processor data is governed by their own security standards in addition to ours.
